Nitek’s Single- and Multi-Channel Solutions allow IP devices to transmit over coax cabling. The Ethernet over coax technology allow the EtherStretch™ and EtherStretch Lyte™ systems to extend IP devices beyond cable distance limitations and acts as a PoE inserter or PoE pass-through device.

The EtherStretch™ and EtherStretch Lyte™ IP over coax systems are transparent to the network and have no IP or MAC addressing. Simply connect your IP devices to the network ports of the EtherStretch™ or EtherStretch Lyte™ IP over coax transmitter and receiver along with existing cabling, and the system begins communicating. LED indicators show the status of IP devices and network communication in addition to the PoE power status.
