Job Description:
Nitek prides itself on manufacturing data transmission devices that are best in class in terms of reliability and performance. The Technician Specialist is responsible for assembling the parts and components to create theses devices, then testing the finished goods to ensure they function appropriately and meet Nitek’s standards and specifications. The Technician Specialist will work with the engineering team and other production staff to provide technical support, testing, diagnosing and troubleshooting for a multiple products lines, testing all features, connections and functionalities. Nitek fully updated its production equipment in 2021and 2022 and needs technicians that are comfortable working independently and with minimal direction to build prototypes, legacy assemblies, and full production builds.
Ideally, this person can hit the ground running, will make an immediate impact, and is interested in an extended, multi-year role where they can make a significant contribution to the growth and success of Nitek.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex assembly of products according to established specifications and instructions
- Perform high precision calibration and advanced adjustments using testing instruments
- Help develop assembly and test procedures to promote production of quality products
- Monitor the functioning of devices and report on any problems or substandard condition
- Ensure all log books are maintained according to standard operating procedures
- Perform equipment assembly according to engineering drawings
- Perform cleaning of all parts as per established cleaning procedures
- Conduct product testing and performance testing and record the results
- Perform final checks and adjustments for any defects to ensure high quality products
- Develop preventive maintenance procedures to avoid any breakdowns and failures
- Monitor equipment efficiency and perform required preventive maintenance
- Work closely with Engineering to identify and implement production improvements
- Work closely with Engineering to help write and maintain production, assembly, and test procedures

- Maintain a clean and ESD safe environment
Key Requirements:
- GED or High school diploma
- Minimum 3 years experience in electronics manufacturing environment, QA, assembly, and or testing
- Critical thinker with excellent analytical skills and strong problem-solving ability who can manage
multiple projects simultaneously and thrives in a fast moving, hands-on environment - Team player with a strong sense of urgency to meet goals on schedule
