Reports To: Production Manager

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00AM to 3:30PM

Job Description:

We are looking for a Junior Assembler to assist with assembling products, including printed circuit boards and subassemblies. Responsibilities include using hand tools and machines, following blueprints, maintaining equipment, and ensuring product quality. You will also assist with inventory management and basic repairs as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses standard office and warehouse equipment such as small handheld tools, soldering iron, jigs, heat gun, box cutters, tape dispensers, light machinery, hand trucks, or pallet jacks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Soldering printed circuit boards
  • Subassembly for products such as cabling
  • Assist in assembling machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, appliances, and
    more according to directions.
  • Assist in maintaining equipment and conveyors and perform basic repairs when needed.
  • Assist in inventories tools, parts, and supplies; Assist in contacting materials handler if supplies
    are needed
  • Assist in periodically checking the products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform
    completion; Assist in resolving any identified problems and alerts supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and ESD safe environment

Key Requirements:

  • GED or High school diploma
  • Minimum 1 years experience  of assembly work
  • Minimum 1 year experience in soldering printed circuit boards
  • Team player with a strong sense of urgency to meet goals on schedule
  • Critical thinker with excellent analytical skills and strong problem-solving ability who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrives in a fast moving, hands-on environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening
  • High energy level, positive, and enthusiastic
  • Ability to lift 40lbs. to 50lbs.
  • Basic computer proficiency
