A large security system integrator who specializes in the retail and fast food sector was awarded a multi-year national accounts contract with two nationwide retailers. NITEK worked in unison with the system integrator to implement a twisted pair CCTV solution. Previously, coax had been the bedrock of all their previous installs. However, with the onset of IP, both customers expressed desire to eventually implement this emerging technology, as well as a desire to separate themselves from their competitors, and NITEK ingenuity brought them to the forefront.

The construction of several new administrative and personnel dormitories at a government installation led to the need for a new CCTV system. The new system was required to be fully integrated into their existing network. Additionally, several new entry control points were established. These would also require video camera coverage. NITEK worked with a security consultant to design the best solution for their current needs and one that could be expanded and, if needed, service with minimal effort or system wide disruption.
